###
This strong economy that we are all enjoying continues to bring with it market volatility and double-digit inflationary pressure across all materials. These trends have strengthened throughout the weeks since our last communication. While ongoing C.H.I. negotiations have helped to offset these increases, the net impact of market trends has made it necessary to implement a price increase.
All orders for sectional doors, rolling steel doors, and parts placed after 5:00 p.m. central time on May 1, 2018, will reflect a 6.6% increase. Sectional and rolling steel door pricing will be reflected in a multiplier adjustment, while C.H.I. Parts will show a list price increase. Updated price book pages for the C.H.I. Parts program will be distributed electronically in the coming days. There will be no increase to freight rates, and C.H.I. is watching market conditions closely to determine if an increase will also be required on openers at a future date.
