Garage Door Co Repair Pros has received price increase notices from Clopay. Clopay has announced a significant price increase of 4.2 to 8.0% on all garage door products effective 02/26/2018. Clopay's last increase was 3.0% to 5.0% effective 05/22/2017. Unlike Amarr (who announced a 3.0% increase effective 01/26/2018), Clopay will honor existing pricing for orders in their system by the date of the increase 02/26/2018. All garage residential and commercial garage door and accessories are subject to the 4.2% increase with the exception of full view glass doors (Avante, model 902 & 903) which are getting hit with an 8.0% increase.
Clopay is citing material costs, especially steel, labor and health care costs as the primary reason to need the price increase.
We will honor proposals written prior to the manufacturers price increase for the time indicated at the bottom of the proposal (usually 45 days). Please contact us with any questions about how this may effect a proposal we have provided for your project.
