Garage Door Co Repair Pros wishes to express our best wishes to the employees and Eckert family during these difficult times. Eckert Door Company (Milwaukee, WI) has been one of our garage door suppliers for many years and they are closing their doors after over 50 years. Eckert manufactured wood garage doors and distributed products from other vendors too. Our usual contact was with Tim in their Carpentersville, IL distribution center. Thanks Tim for your professional service and enjoy your retirement.

I worked for Eckert Door Co., Inc. from 1995 to 2001 as a branch manager and enjoyed every day of it. Bob Eckert was a shrewd business man and knew his stuff. When I was hired as sales manager from 2010 t0 2012 I had the pleasure of knowing Jane Eckert. Sorry to see a long time door company go out of business. They will be missed. Jim Rieser

Dustin: It appears that the phone number for Eckert was transferred to a new company. It is apparent from the website that you listed above that this is a local garage door service company NOT a garage door manufacturer. Our post was specifically about the manufacturing company. Are any of the people in your new company former employees of the prior company? Or is this just a company which obtained the old phone number? Good luck in either case
